How it works
- Add a point: click a talent (on a phone: tap it, then “+ Add”).
- Remove a point: right-click or Shift-click (on a phone: tap, then “− Remove”). Points that other talents depend on can't be removed until those are cleared.
- Rows: each row unlocks after 5 more points in that tree (5, 10 … 30). Arrows mark talents that need the previous one maxed.
- Level: your first point arrives at level 10, so a build with n points needs level 9 + n.
FAQ
- How many talent points do you get in WoW Forever?
- 51 at level 60: one point per level from level 10, the same as Classic. The beta data also lists five extra “Talented” points at levels 5–9; how they are earned is not confirmed yet, so this calculator uses 51.
- Are WoW Forever talents the same as Classic?
- The layout is the same — three trees per class, seven rows, a new row unlocks every 5 points spent in that tree — but many talents changed. New ones in the beta include Mutilate (Assassination), Penance (Discipline), Lava Burst (Elemental), Riptide (Restoration Shaman), Wild Growth (Restoration Druid) and Prayer of Mending (Holy).
- When does WoW Forever launch?
- November 4, 2026. The beta opened on September 17, 2026. Talents can still change before launch; this calculator is rebuilt from each new beta build.
- How do I share a build?
- Every change updates the page address. Copy the link (or press “Copy link”) and anyone who opens it sees the same build.
What's new by class
Class pages list every talent that is new, removed or re-ranked compared with Classic Era: Hunter, Shaman. More classes are being added.
About the data
Talents, ranks and tooltips are read from the WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70170, via wago.tools) and rebuilt when a new beta build ships. Last updated 2026-10-03.
